But have you tried calling since you moved? With the new area code, it might take 'em a while to catch on. :biggrin5:

Should be a fun series. I look forward to seeing them go head to head.

Looking forward to this series and hoping it gets some air time.
I love this para from the Inside Line article:
"We totally get it. There's a certain perverse pleasure that comes from hustling a small car through twisty corners and then cruising innocently down the straights in classic "who, me?" fashion. Many such cars are just a set of tires and a couple of easy suspension mods away from embarrassing sleds that cost thousands more." -

It would be nice if MINI saw fit to offer their cars for use too. I think a Cooper would be the hot ticket.

Probably too hot. Those other cars come stock with about 100 hp; the Cooper weighs in at 120 hp. That's a lot of penalty ballast.

Is there a series here in the States for these as of yet?

Over in the motherland I thought there were different versions of MINIs, MINI, Cooper & MCS. I think the Cooper is actually a hotted up one compared to the justamini. Maybe they could do a a different tune to get the power to the level of the other cars.

The MINI One is available in the rest of the world, just not here in the North American market. HP wise it would compare with the rest of the B Spec cars.
See MINI UK for specs. -

I have recently read that Mini of Charleston is doing the development work for Mini USA and will be distributing competition kits required to change a base car into a weekend racer.
