Thank you! They sit very nicely in person. A little bit too much gap for me, but some coilovers and JCW brakes will sort that out when the money comes in.
I'm not sure yet. The Dragon's a long way away, but me and one of my friends might drive down there just because.
Hopefully I'll be there on the 19th! Maybe bring the girlfriend too. She lives in Denver.
And is there a place to get a hold of MINI5280 besides FB?
Haha. Ohhh shots fired, Dave.
P.S. My current 17.2 MPG rating tells me I might need to let off the throttle a little for the next tank. But I've been showing off to friends and family. Who can blame me??
It's currently on Blizzak snow tires, and I'll be switching out to my summer tires tonight. Can't wait to feel the difference!-

Congrats again! See you on the 19th!
Keep your local shop's and all the MINI5280 members in mind when you start modding, we are a great resource.-

MINI5280 does have a section on here, but FB is where everybody posts now... We have 2 or 3 different pages...
Bring the GF... We are all friendly for the most part... (Myself excluded)
The Dragon isnt something you do on a whim... Save up and plan for next year is your best bet.-

There is an inner struggle in me now. Should I get a FB and talk to 5280 or should I stay stubborn and refuse? I..... Can't.... Do it! lol
Hahah. I'll try to avoid the rust bucket with the grouchy veteran driving it.
I'll probably take some time to upgrade Joni (Pronounced Joe-Knee) before joining you all.-

Here's a more flattering picture of Joni right after I got her, at my house. Ignore the smiling buffoon blocking the view.

The mods are starting off strong!! I just took off the front license plate holder after getting Joni insured and registered. Haha. Need something to fill in those little holes now.... Dick, I need some Bondo.

Seriously though, I have to get these Blizzaks off. I haven't been home since I got the car really. Got home at midnight, slept, woke up, and started moving again. The only reason I've been able to post here is that Statistics and Calculus are a bit boring. I honestly don't even know if my wheels are the same size. And I haven't even taken the "Roller Babes Denver" sticker off the rear window. Hahaha.

Nevermind, it's all good. Joe at Sleek Motoring cut me a good deal on some Continentals that came with his new rims. Not enough money to pick them up ATM (Taxes are killer..), but I'll be going in Monday for fitment to my Prag wheels, and they'll throw the Blizzaks on my S-Lites.
Side note, anyone who lives in or near Colorado really ought to go meet the gentlemen at Sleek Motoring. Awesome crew who knows their stuff. Unfortunately, that means that Joe had to tell me to get some Powerflex bushings... *Sigh* Other than that he said it's clean and in good shape.-

Thank you! It was a requirement for me.
Oh! Planned mods; 15% pulley, air intake, straight pipe exhaust (New header, no cat), tuned by Jan, some bigger brakes, and some nice coilovers. And then I have plenty of cosmetic stuff planned too.Mainly just blacking everything out. Haha.
I also have a planned "stance" I want to achieve, I want it to sit something like this picture.Attached Files:
