Those are some Gorgeous MINIS you have there!! PM me your email address and once I get my photos uploaded I'll send you the ones I took of you and Mozart lining up for the photo.
Thanks, Dawn, will do. It was great to meet you and hang out in the trenches. Looking forward to next year! Annette
The hubby and I made it home last night by 8pm- we went out for a bite to eat and a well-deserved drink after our 694 mile cannonball run home. I'm so thrilled I finally met some of you this time! Jim- now you're in my radar. I'll be spotting you left and right! Already re-booked our room for next year
It was great meeting you and your husband Monica. Did he get any pictures on his mini bike on the Dragon? I made it home around 6:30, but I was only going to the Gettysburg area. Look forward to seeing you all again next year. Jim
Going down Monday to Sunday next year And I am happy to say I finally was able to update my "suspension mods" section of my garage on here..... had Helix install a H&R rear sway bar. Now for the other 50+ things I want to do
Hey Mark I think you were in the cabin right across the street from us. Love the color of your MINIs Ali
We had a small caravan of 6 cars heading up to the DC area last night. Made it home in 10 hours. I miss MOTD already :cryin: We reserved the same cabin for next year and I'm pretty sure we're coming all week. Ali and Tigger
Tigger & Monica, did you all see that town on I-81, between Johnson City and Bristol that looked as if it was wiped out by a tornado? I am guessing you all went that way, but perhaps not. Jim
OMG- yes! I did! I never saw tornado devastation in person before! I keep saying how lucky we were it didn't take out Fontana while we were all there! :yikes:
Exit 30, it was devastating. First time I've ever seen live the impact from a tornado. We did drive right by it all. Did you also see the damage where a tornado came down about a mile or so past the end of the Dragon on 129 near the lake? A bit close for comfort, we were all very lucky. Ali
Hey Tig, may have been... my only disappointment about the whole event is that I didn't get to meet as many people as I thought I would. As much as I think name tags are a silly idea, it may really help recognize people that I simply may not have said hi too. Mark
We were way up the hill at the end of Shuckstack (Shucktrail, I kept calling it shuck a muck), last house on the left. I saw two bright orange MINIs parked in the house right across from us. I wanted to say hi, but you were never out when I was. I did meet a very sweet little dog that was there. That's one of the things I love about MOTD, you can just chat with anyone. Ali
I felt the same way last year. This year I worked the first registration and hung around more so I could meet more people. It paid off, but still so many more online friends to meet  Mark- I love the color of your MINI as well. It should be an offered color
Thanks, I almost agree... I love the color but I DON’T think it should be offered... cause I’d have to paint it again..LOL BUT THANK YOU!!! You just gave me the answer to my problem... I WANT TO WORK REGISTRATION NEXT YEAR!!! That way I’ll get to meet everyone.. Ohhhhh, Barry..... Mark
Volunteer early to get a nice busy shift. I worked a few hours on Sat morning and very few people came in. Still I was happy to help out. Ali
Thanks Ali, I’m looking getting ready to send a PM to Barry now. You think Wednesday is the best day? I’d love to be there on one of the first few days. Mark PS. And yes, as corny as it would be, I’d wear a name tag!
