One of our beloved PW brethren bites the dust. At least the insurance company will have an easy investigation.

MINIs, Trees, and Summer T-Storms are not friends as of late.

Becky Cole, of the Seven Oaks area of Silver Spring, MD, emerged from her house on Highview Avenue following the storm Thursday to find her dream car — ajet-blue Mini Cooper — buried under a tree that was uprooted from her neighbor's front yard. The tree also brought power lines onto the street, leaving Cole, along with most of the neighborhood, without power.
