I'm in too. Time & location please. I'm bringing tater salad..... My biggest dead-blow hammer..... Maybe a roll of duct tape too.
Ok let's do the BBQ Saturday April 12th. Bring a side dish or desert. If anyone has a small project in mind lmk so we can plan for it.
I undated the first post with and address and time. If this doesn't work we can change it. I would like it available to the most people that want to come. Otherwise it's just a normal Saturday in the shop for me.
Do you want this added to the events thread and the calendar? I would link back to this thread so people can let you know if they are coming, what they are bringing, and any project request.
I went with and like the Round and Flat non-warped versions.:lol::devil: No need for the frozen, slotted or drilled rotors on a MINI. Any person uses the brakes that much needs driving lessons not over priced rotors. ** ^ Only for daily driving not Racing or Track Events.
Well diamond slotted that's a whole different story. :ihih: Congrats on the new rotors enjoy the new stopping power.
I have cryo & slotted rotors. To tell my take on it, the slots seem to give better initial bite in the rain. I'm sure they vent gas out very well too. These rotors have been on my car for about 100,000 miles. I attribute that great wear to the cryo treatment & the fact I don't brake in a fashion that makes my pads combust. They cost more than the round & pancake shaped ones, but for how long they last it's a wash cost wise. They work for me. I'll buy some more at the next brake change.
The rear suspension should be good. We just took it apart and put it together a couple of weeks ago. So that saves a little time.:cornut:
That's true!!!! All we need to do is pull the engine, clean it and repaint the engine compartment, tear down the engine and regasket everything, put it back in, take front suspension off and rebush. Etc etc. hahahahaha
Seth I forgot to tell you we moved the BBQ to Best Motor works and it's Monday 14th, show up at 8am for your appointment, I mean cookout!
Hahaha. That's pretty funny. Actually, I may only have a 3rd pulsar light to do or rear brake calipers. My dad and I are probably doing my ps lines that day anyway and I haven't bought my bushings yet and probably won't for another week. Hey! If you want to rebuild my car I'm good with that! As long as it is done correctly!
