    Just lost the beard to my second round of chemo. Thankfully my mustache is still hanging on because I've had it since 1967 and I've grown attached to it. :)

    The wife doesn't like mine. I grow it for a while and then she gets on me to shave it, I eventually cave in. My grand daughter seemed a little disappointed this last time I shaved it off so I am growing it out again.

    I've had a beard since I was 19 years old. I'm 64 now you do the math. Babs has never seen me beardless.

    Here's me with my 50 year old beard. I HATE SHAVING... I shaved it off once in the early 80's and my secretary did not recognize me when I got back from lunch at the barber. :)

    I can say that I have the most fun during the x-mas season. I put a fancy 'Santa hat' and go walking in stores. Kids under 5 or 6 really think I'm Santa. Watching the kids look, pointing at me and smiling, adds another joy to my x-mas season. I'm not explaining this too well, but it adds a lot of fun to the celebration. Try it next year....

    I will have to see if I have one with my beard presentable.

    Only time I have had it off since 1973 is for my wedding in 1982 and one other time if I recollect, but I was told to grow it back by my wife.

    A thread after me own heart. No current picture to post but the last time I shaved the beard growning parts was mid August, 1970. When I get my CPU back from the shop I'll find a graphic to post.
    PS: My bride of 42 years has never seen me without it.

    I had a beard when I met my wife in college and she didn't see me without it until the day the Air Force made me shave it off. I still remember her laughing.....
