Been looking in from time to time, so, decided to make my initial post. I have a '03 BRG MCS. I've owned the car for under two years, owned by a family member since '05. Very low mileage, only 23 k., hibernates for the winter months. I started modding as soon as I got the car. All the regular parts, CAI, 15% pulley, 380cc JCW Inj., Milltek Header/Catback, cooler plugs, DT BV, RMW tune and misc. other pieces. It dyno'ed at 190 whp and 178 ft.lbs. on a Dyno-Max 2000. Sufficient for my tastes. I'm just about to start phase two, H-sport springs, Koni Yellows, H-Sport Comp rear sway bar, H-Sport Adj. rear control arms and an alignment. That's for suspension mods then I've decided to replace the OEM crank pulley with the ATI Super Damper 2% pulley and a GP Intercooler/DDM diverter. Bling and performance. Plus I've decided to ditch the run-flats for a set of Conti Extreme Contact DW 205/50/16 on my R84's. This all started with the decision to give my Mini, now a 10 yr.old a super and complete tune-up and car inspection.............. then one thing led to another!!!!:
Thanks for delurking and becoming a contributing member of Motoring Alliance! Looking forward to hearing more about your adventures in modding.
Pics Rum4, I placed a couple of pics in my garage. I know the rules, without pics, it didn't really happen! I just put the M7 tower brace on and I like the look. Hopefully, it will be as good or better at protecting as the Craven STD's plus stiffen up the front. Cheers Ed.
:cornut: Welcome to the Madness. I see by your 'Mod List' that you're already an addict and from personal experience, there's no cure. Jason
