I put OEM plugs in my Wife's MINI at 50,000 miles. Her MINI still runs like a top with 78,000 miles on the clock. I see no benefit in using a different kind of plug in your case or mine.
Changing the plugs may or may not make a difference. At your mileage it would be good to do. Are you seeing any check engine lights? If so get your car scanned to find out what code it has if any. Do you have a MCS or a Cooper?

When I first got my MCS, I was all hot to mod it up and switched out my OEM plugs for NGKs at around 20k...bad idea as they gave me all sorts of problems. I returned to OEM plugs and the car is still running smoothly at 120k. -

There are no spark plug wires, just coil packs. One on each plug.
