I have used many brands and they all worked. Main concern was the tube used to fill the tire, as some work and others did not. Slime seems to be the in name. I bought a compressor from Auto Zone (a Slime, by the way) for $20.00. Small, plugs in the lighter socket and works very well. Says it takes 8 minutes to fill a regular tire, but the faster ones were large.

I've always wondered if that Slime stuff would cause problems with the TPM sensors? -

According to the makers of Slime it will not adversely effect TPMS sensors. They sell a smart spare which is a compressor & slime in a combo pack.

I bought the version for implement tires. Did you buy the no sidewall version?

If having a spare, a compressor & slime keep the flats away it's money well spent.

Here's a local thread from a very small MINI board that Beken, CAL, and I are on. Don't worry we won't be taking overy. I think we have about a 10 members. On the other hand, just one extra member will mean a 10% increase and who knows where that will lead.
Anyways there's some noteworth comment about Slime and also a nice compact Airman compressor that Beken carries.

I roll around with two cans of TPMS safe Fix-a-Flat I actually bought at my local Mini Dealer. Haven't had to use them nor do I want to...
