Nope but to you have the factory dim fog lights? I replaced the bulbs with and H11 HID kit for $29 bucks and it's all plug and play. They work great!

Only get the 35w kit not the 55w kit, because the 55w gets too hot.

    Sorry to butt in...

Sorry to butt in here, but will that kit work for a 2011 S? Same lights/bulbs? I need more illumination from my driving lights, and is there any way to keep the driving lights on when you hit the high beams?

From the website.....they simply give you an HID kit for most size bulbs. So if you have an H7 or an H11 or one of the many others they offer it is a plug and play installation.

    Gonna get one myself.

As ever, I appreciate the guidance, Dave.O.

My R50 is VERY base aside from the sunroof, with no switch for fogs.

More important to me though, is it has no cruise control!! :(

Makes me wonder what, besides an upgraded OEM steering wheel I need to add it.

Dave, that is a great looking kit. Any issues with the install?

Nope it's real easy to just plug in and go as long as you know your way around the front of your MINI and have taken the bumper off before. It's works with the factory switch and everything.

With that being said I did have to take off the front bumper to mount (double sided tape) the ballast on the aluminum bumper. You also need to remove the wheels to undo the lower inner wheel well liner to get to the back of the fog light housing so you can install the bulbs. (Great BMW design again) The cool thing is you can test everything without putting the bumper back on.

Removing the bumper is easy on an R53 it's only held on with (2) Torx bolts up top, (2) 8mm bolts one one each side by the marker lights and the (3) lower bolts.

Looks like I will finally get some decent fog lights!

Did you have to get any of the "extras".....brackets, harness, etc.?

They are better than OEM and you cam aim them. Factory fogs are adjustable. They have a decent cut off line and most important they do not blind other oncoming drivers.

I like them because they match my factory HID's and they all have 6k HID bulbs now.
They blend in with the lines of the front without adding a big rally light set up and keep the front of my car looking stock.

Nope everything is included for wiring and no brackets needed.

The factory housing works fine and the OEM lens is made of glass.

I do not know "for sure 100%" if this will work on any car after 2006. (R53)

I do not know for sure if it will fit but I do not see why not if you order the right size bulbs for your fog lights.

As for keeping them on with the high beams..... Yes, you can do it but it will take additional wiring. I see no need myself since my high beams are bright enough and I rarely use them. I never really need to see a 1/2 mile away.

This kit is a simple plug and play kit and works with your low beams just like your factory fog lights. The light is just brighter and the color matches your OEM HID's but they are not HELLA Fog / Driving lights that people mount to a bumper.

Note I did also order 6K HID low beams with my 6k H11 HID fog light kit so all the bulbs are the same age and to make everything match perfectly because all HID bulbs dim over time.

Oh and I am OCD about stuff looking right and colors matching.

Sadly I don't have any fog lights at the moment, so Dave.O's idea doesn't work for me.

No one with experience with the Blinglights?

DC if your car has the switch for fogs then your car is pre-wired for fogs. If that's the case, if your lucky, you just need to buy the fog light housings.

Oh I just looked at the Bling lights and they include everything in the entire kit so that is a fair price to add them. It's not that hard of a job to do the install.

I say go for it.
