I'm trying to figure out how this BMW was designed to handle specific Chinese driving conditions...

Are their driving conditions any different than in the rest of the world????

It's just a smaller 1 series BMW.

 

This is the same as the BMW X1, 3rd gen Clubman and 2017 Countryman (same UKL platform), but with a sedan body. Just swap in the front bumper and grill from a Clubman/Countryman, and voilà a MINI 4-door sedan.

 

You can bet Lifan is on top of it right now....
