Or more likely, the forums make the problems appear much worse than they actually are in the global scheme of things. So in the case of the MINI engine, it's designed and engineered by BMW, then sold to other mfrs who actually build it and sell it back to MINI?
I read that in Wards a while back. I about fell off my chair laughing. It sure would be great to take engines apart at say 100K & then award the trophies.
