MINI sales are down in the US currently. However; worldwide, MINI sales are up.

Opening new markets and selling used cars should not count as sales going up.

Comparing apples to apples is the way it should be done.

Last years sales of new cars for last years dealership Vs the SAME dealerships this year. That equals sales down.

Sorry I am not buying the "government style" statistics. :frown2:

Any business that is looking to grow and expand would open new markets when they can to increase sales and profitability while also diversifying the client base in the event of a downturn in other markets.

Worldwide sales count. Just because the local US market is not doing as well doesn't mean that other markets aren't doing better than average and help bring the company into profitability.

you may not like the direction BMW is taking with MINI, you have made that abundantly clear far to many times. Your harangues on the matter have become childlike and rather annoying to most Dave. It's is time you put that vitriol away.
