    This silliness needs to stop...

Companies are throwing huge sums of money to develop a technology that's going to be hacked by that pre teen nerd that's sitting on his bed in his parents basement somewhere.....

It won't. In fact it will accelerate. The auto industry as a whole is undergoing vast changes.

I get the impression car manufacturers aren't overly concerned that your car can be easily hacked and stolen...

And why should they.... That's where the possibility a new replacement will enter the trout stream....

I just hope the fella can't work a manual... But that deterrence will be short lived with the way things are changing...

"Motoring" will become extinct. Sure glad I won't be around to see the takeover. Reminds me of an instance at the local supermarket. They spent 3 or 4 weeks moving EVERYTHING around. Drove everybody nuts. Walking down an isle with one of the workers I voiced my opinion of the whole thing. His response was: "They won't do that again for 20 years. You don't have to worry about it, you'll be dead by them." Cracked me up.

Same thing happened here... Krogers moved everything around.... I couldn't find anything... I stopped shopping there.... Moved over to Giant Eagle.... They opened a brand new store.... Shopped there for 6 months.... They moved everything around... Couldn't find anything... I asked for help... They offered me a map...:(

A map? That is tantamount to asking for directions, oh the horror! I asked directions once and was nearly expelled.
I didn't have the convenience of another operation to patronize except wallyworld and I WILL NOT darken their door. They really pi$$ed me of a number of years ago. The frustrating thing about that is, they care less about it than I do.

The Giant Eagle clerk had a hard time finding what I was looking for (Charcoal Briquettes). He had to call someone with his lapel radio mic. Probably someone at the office at map central. He said the changes had to do with some sort of exhaustive study that was made that determined people bought more based on "Associative Product Placement"....

The charcoal is now located right next to the rolls of tinfoil.... So now I know where the tinfoil is located....
