I would like to try the Hartley V8 in a Mini - this is two Suzuki Hayabusa engines made into a V8. Sure it has 'only' 200-250 ft.lb but it has that all the way from 3,000 to 10,000 rpm. And 400hp top end has to be enough. Unlike the Hemi, it might fit under the bonnet/hood.

That's the ugliest BMW or at least it's up there IMHO.....
So it's got a built in default..... "KILL IT WITH FIRE", pretty cool.....:D

Now fix the MINI fire issue.... That's the one that's unacceptable IMHO....

Lets see if the braintrust at NHSTA can connect the dots.

Rolls Royce is recalling 2010 Ghost over possible engine fires.

Oh, and before you ask..... Canada isn't a part of this recall program.... You guys are gonna appreciate the extra heat this winter.....

Back in 2002 we ditched our VM Eurovan after spending nearly $10K over 3.5 years in maintenance. One interesting thing we noticed that in our community newspaper, the North Shore News, almost every single vechile fire that was pictured, was for a VW. We felt some strange sense of smugness knowing we no longer owned a firetrap.
