    I don't believe the GCM is "programmed" to match up with the car. It works pretty independent of the ECU. For your car Greg?

    not for my car. from my car. i don't need that stuff. someone else needs one and emailed me about buying mine. i don't want to sell it to him if it won't work. i looked on mine. it is stamped with the date it was programmed and the VIN. i just don't know if the original programming can be overwritten.
