Brakes Wheels 2nd Gen Tires Brake Bushing Stiffening Kit for 2nd Gen/JCW R53

    So the bad economy is preventing me from spending 2K+ on BBK. I have a GP w/ the R53 JCW brakes-the same as 2nd gen MCS brakes. Planning on just upgrading pads-ie CT 12/10, Hi-Temp fluid, SS Goodridge lines, home made air brake ducts. I wanted the Brake Bushing Stiffening Kit like I had on my previous MCS (Tyrolsport)
    But does anyone know of any vendor that offers these for 2nd Gen MCS/ JCW R53 brakes?

    Hmmm. The 2nd gen / R53 JCW front calipers are totally different - I don't think they use rubber bushings like the OEM 1st gen brakes?

    The MCS R55/56/57 brakes are SOOOOOO much better than the R53 brakes, right out of the box - with the other mods you're talking about, you'll have a VERY capable brake setup for any practical application....

    ON R53 JCW or 2nd gen brakes, the caliper bushings are only needed in the rear, Turner sells them in pairs.

    ... I also have a pair of used ones in my old front calipers that I'll make a deal on for someone who just needs a set for the rear (they're the same).

    Guess, 2nd Gen MCS/ JCW R53 brakes have "semi solid" bushings?

    Not sure how they're built, actually - the sliders go into the caliper body with no obvious bushings. I mistakenly pulled the pins on one when I was working on them and it was well-greased. they have dust boots to keep them greasy. They're built so the sliders don't have to be pulled to disassemble and change pads.
