I will be doing that. The code reader I have will do the ABS cycle. The good part is I will know I got all the air and have fresh fluid.

When I replaced mine, I also had the “Brake Fluid Flush with ABS Cycle” procedure done. This required the MINI to be hooked up to a laptop and the ABS valves cycled and different caliper bled at different times. Lovely BMW system. While this was kinda a pain, I feel it was necessary. The brakes were perfect when finished and I have done 2-3 fluid replacements the old school way since. (But I track my MINI and replace my high temp fluid yearly)

Thanks @colinmini. The R53 is now my every day car, most of the hard driving is saved for the Helmet, it will be getting the high temp fluid.
