    I know!
I have the 1500 in my jeep, and have the 1200 for the mini, and a pair of 1220 coming for the cummins truck.

I just had the same problem as th original poster today and was like WTF.

Only dash & rear lights on and the bing bing bing and could not lock the doors. I know it was not my battery.

It took me about 5 minutes to figure out the gound was very loose on frame on the passenger side. In fact I could tighten it with my hand then I grabbed the ratchet.

It's the ground that comes off bracket where the top motor mount attaches.

I think I can rule out the battery.

It passed the load tests. I borrowed a good battery and it still won't start.

The ground wire is fastened tightly.

The fuel pump kicks on, the filter is new, it gets spark. It turns over at a normal rate.

Next is to check the fuel pressure and voltage at the fuel pump, I suppose.

Also, when I had the fuel pump replaced, it was actually the sending unit.

Booo. Always replace the complete fuel module.
    Pump and sending unit.

I was worried about this. Since it was spraying out half the fuel from the leaky sending unit, it would have been working the pump harder. Maybe that's what is the problem.

The thing with the lights hasn't happened again. I don't know what to think about that. It would just be nice if it ran. I'm tired of bumming rides. :(

Just thought of this. When I looked at the fuel filter earlier to be sure it was replaced, the sending unit was slightly pressurized when I disconnected the fuel line from it but there wasn't any fuel sloshing around in there.

Shouldn't there normally be some fuel sitting inside the sending unit with the filter? The filter was wet.
