+1 a great turnout and a great time...I hope the short run for fried bologna sandwiches at the G&R Grille went well too. Paul had to leave early to complete his sale of the '33 Willys, he returned to Tim's by 10:45 to finish of the morning.Good to see old friends Welshman aka WMWNY and Yuree. :cornut: Meg...we missed you :cryin:

I'm hoping to have my new mods on by the next meeting and when I give Chuck his Christmas present [no, not the tires]. :cornut:

Sorry we missed it. Daughter wasn't feeling well. Hope to see everyone in a couple of months. We will be out of town for the next one.

+1 on the great turnout
On top of the usual joy and excitement the MINI breakfasts usually give me, I particularly enjoyed:
1. The temperature wasn't too cold, allowing us time to comfortably talk outside and stroll through the long line of MINIs without being rushed to go back inside or get in a warm car.
2. I spotted a couple new R50 and R53 owners- For a while I felt like Crashton, B.A.D., rigidjunkie, and myself were the only older style MINI drivers left in the club and it was being bombarded by R56 owners (I'm not saying that's a bad thing).
3. Metalman (Chuck) it was nice to finally meet you and check out your slick JCW in person. Never seen a grill badge quite like yours before.
4. CHKMINI (Mark) sweet winter wheels
5. wmwny (Jeff) Happy to see you made it down today. I'm sure Chuck is anxiously waiting and trying to guess what present you are bringing him next month.
6. Iwashmycar (Adam) your stance on the new BC's looks great. Your MINI is still ridiculously low.
7. jmc40 I don't believe I talked to you, but I parked next to you and checked out your ride- still looks almost new.
8. Douglas H (Doug) love the black wheels and BBK. It was nice chatting with you inside- you always have something interesting to talk about. I'm also glad you approved of Irene :yesnod:
8. Crashton (Chuck) Hope you like the Motoring Alliance grill badge and can put it to good use. I'm looking forward to seeing some of your photos
9. Of course I was happy to see Yuriy when he finally showed up at 10:09, with a BAC still probably beyond the legal limit.
After we left breakfast, Aaron met up with Yuriy, Irene, and me at the New Albany shooting range. Yuriy brought his 40 cal Berretta 92FS and a 9mm Smith and Wesson. Aaron surprised us all and walked in with 2 black suitcases full of pistols. He looked like a professional hitman, but wearing a MINI Cooper shirt and Piloti driving shoes. I'm no gun expert, so I had a fun time trying out a few new pistols and shooting at a sweet target.

Now that is a great way to follow up Tim Hortons. Tell me the group is going to the range after the next breakfast and I will bring my toys too.

Drunk Yuri and handguns. Cooper you sure do know how to party
I would totally be up for popping a few caps after breakfast at some point, it has been too long since I last shot a gun -

Sorry i've been so quiet! I missed you all last weekend...was in Chicago for a conference all week. Also why i've been so MIA online. Don't worry! Didn't go anywhere for good.
Also...the job hunting has been rather wearingLet me know if anyone hears of a good fulltime job in Columbus or Cleveland! I'm looking hard but don't seem to be getting anywhere!
No new mods on the MINI. With the end of employment (Dec 17) looming near the mod budget is rapidly shrinking....
Will be at the Dec. dinner. Decisions on where that is yet? -
