Very nice pictures Chuck! What box of wires (camera)? Lens appears to be good and the photographer know how to make it work.

I really liked the TR2 with hardtop and patina!

Don the box o wires is a Fuji XPro-1 mirrorless with a 16-50 zoom. State of the art 3 years ago, but good enough for me today.

I also enjoy the original cars with real patina. They are only original once. :biggrin5:

Still trying to decide between this and the BMC event (or neither if it is raining). The next couple of weekends are why I love Spring/Summer, more choices for car events than there is available time.

That hasn't stopped you from entering your German owned/British manufactured car in British car shows. :biggrin5:

 

BMC means British Motor Corporation.

Not sure about heads being butted. The club name always seemed kind of odd to me too.

I had that beautiful BMC rosette on the corner of my MG's windscreen. Always liked it.

 

It's usually a fun time so long as the weather is not horrid.

 

I wonder how the turn out will be for the show with the current forecast.

 

That's because it is STILL part British...and, YOURS is...WHAT? Besides, I always tell the so-called purists that, "if Rover had not gone under, the Mini would STILL be all British".

 

I wouldn't have bought my MINI had it not been made in the UK.

My point was that if it was a gathering I would enjoy it much more because we would hang around, kick tires (regardless of where they are made or what badge is on them) and enjoy ourselves. With most car shows we arrive at different times, spend way too much time taking photos and never really enjoy each other's company because of the "event". That's why I enjoy the Dragon. Hanging out, no real agenda ( other than the Donut Run and BrewSwap) and having a good time. At my age I've had my fill of organization and events.
