Has anyone been to the British Invasion in Stowe VT? I'm gonna be up that way and wondered if it was worth a stop.

I used to go ... "modern" MINIs are a little bit shunned, even when local dealership MINI of Peabody attended one year. But if you like older British cars, it's worth a peek.
Oh, and plan for rain - it's almost always wet!

Pics from years when I went are on my website:

    Thanks

Thanks for the info. Looking at the BI website, it looked a little snobbish.
I may skip it as it's 2.5 hours from where I'll be anyway.

My wife and I got married on Sept 19, 2009 in Stowe, VT and it was the British Invasion and during the weekend we had a lot of fun with everyone. Although we didnt have either of the Mini's but my 2007 Trailblazer SS, we played around with a lot of people and their British cars. My parents were there with their friends and all of them were driving Corvettes and everyone got into the fun that weekend. IMO...worth the trip especially if your 2.5 hours away. Im back in Florida and wish I was closer to go every year.

Thanks for the links - nice work.

Also nice that there are so many MINIs, old and new. Looks like good fun for a MINI owner.

And of course there's the Old England Inne and Mr. Pickwicks in Stowe for authentic British Ales. Gonna enjoy that too.

This will be out first year attending, looking forward to it.
