I did not know that BRG was not simply BRG. That color has been around forever, so how can they change it?

I'd say that the Baverian Racing Green II looks better this time around. Although I'll reserve judgment until I see it it person.

 

In the photo it looks solid, which would be a good thing IMO, but I read somewhere it is still metallic rrr:
