You've been patiently waiting and waiting and waiting. The time is finally here - registration for the BRP Tour 2011 is now OPEN!!!!

Once again, we are using the services of Motorsportreg.com to handle registrations and order related to the event. Just use the link below:

THMMC Blue Ridge Parkway Tour 2011 Registration

Hopefully the form is self-explanatory and you can figure out how to get everything you want and sign up for all the parts of the tour that you want to be part of (which should be the whole End-to-End but we understand if it is not). We've made a few tweaks based on our experience last year to help the organizers keep things organized. One thing I would draw your attention to - T-shirt orders have to be made independent of the base registration, so don't forget them as you go through the process. Speaking of t-shirts, here is the design for this year on delicious chocolate t-shirts:

I'll also point out that we have posted an itinerary document from the 2010 BRP Tour. As we get closer to this year's event we'll have a new one with the information for this year - key stops, times, where we plan to eat, etc. But last year's should give you a general idea of how things work.

If you have any questions, please feel free to post them here or PM me. Ditto if you run into problems with the registration.

Thanks for your patience while we worked to get things in order. On behalf of THMMC and all the volunteers working on this event, we thank you for your interest and look forward to seeing you on the BRP!!!

Sounds good. Is there 'standard' lodging that's been used in the past?

Jim, last year they spent Thursday night in Waynesboro, though I drove up from the peninsula leaving at 5AM. Sparta has been a normal stop and it's a little rustic, but very acceptable. Can't remember the exact hotel we used last year in Asheville, it may be the same place. All in all, it works out super well. If you're thinking about doing the End to End run, you really should. It's a great time and you'll meet the neatest people.

The hotel information is over in another thread. All of the information on hotel locations and making reservations is located in that thread.

If I'm not mistaken, the Waynesboro hotel is the same as last year. Sparta is always the Alleghany Inn. This year's Asheville hotel is a new one on the east side.

Just a quick note/reminder that it is one month until the "soft" close to registration for BRP Tour 2011. After May 13th you can register, but you won't be able to place orders for things like t-shirts and we can't guarantee orders for other items.

As of today, we have hit the 50 registration mark.

Great! Glad you joined M/A also. When you get a chance why not start an intro thread?

Friday, May 13th (which starts in less than an hour for me) is the last day to register for BRP Tour and still be able to order t-shirts.

After tomorrow, you can still register, but you won't be able to order t-shirts and other items may only have limited availability, so we make no guarantees.

fwiw, we got our 60th registration tonight!!
