3. OBD2 Extension Cable: This little gizmo has a 90-degree connector to your OBD port and is invaluable. We use it more time than you care to count. You can safely relocate your OBD Port to a much friendlier location inside your MINI. This is critical especially during flash and reflash operations or data-logging operations. If you lose connection during the reflashing process (say you're getting in or out of the MINI and kicked it by accident), then you will be in a world of hurt. For $10 bucks, it's well worth it. Trust us, we won't steer you wrong.



4. DataViewer Software: Want to view your MINIFlash Datalogs in a more friendlier format? Well, then you can get the DataViewer to see your .csv datalogs in a Graphical format with Playback functions. Once you get the software, you must register to enable the "Playback Function"... If purchased separately, then you must pay the $95 price for the DataViewer. DataViewer customers will get free version upgrades.

5. Innovate MTX-L Wideband O2 Digital Air/fuel Ratio Gauge Wideband Kit. The MINIFlash supports AFR Logging and it's compatible with the Innovate family of wideband kits. The Digital MTX-L is their newest gauge line up and provides 'daisy chain support' for additional serial gauges (i.e. Boost Pressure, Air Temp or Engine Temp). These other new gauges will be available during the 1st quarter of 2011.

Mynes Tuning To Provide Fee-Based "Remote Tuning Service" to FA53 Customer:​

As the FA53 customer base grows, we can no longer provide "free tuning support." With the first 200 FA customers, we were quite generous with the tuning support and provided many tweaks at no additional charge... This was okay b/c that was the incentive for supporting the Bytetronik Product. But as the customer base expands worldwide, we can no longer provide same-day support at no extra charge (we need sleep too)

Moving forward, we will adhere more strictly with just providing "one base map" for each FA purchase (either the Base Map for your stock injector or the 550cc Bosch OE Injectors). And any tweaking on top of that will be additional.

Pricing for "remote tuning service" is as follows (not real time tuning):
- Cooper NA or Cooper-S on M45 = $150 per map
- Sprintex S5-210= $200 per map

***NOTE:
1. In order to provide the "Base Map" for your MINI, we must have the data-logs from you first; otherwise, you will get a "Generic Base Map."
2. If you have any sensor errors or hardware issues, those problems MUST be addressed FIRST before you will get the base map from us!

In order for us to perform this service, we MUST have the following info:
- AFR reading on the data logs
- Data logs for Start up, Idle, cruising and WOT (3rd or 4th gear)

With the use of the new Virtual Dyno Software, we can now visualize the changes by simply reading the WOT data logs and compare changes. Of course, if the customer want to know the actual WHP number, then they still have to take it to a Dyno Facility.

ok guys. Those who have the FA53, we need you to email us you "Stock ROM" and "Stock Tune" files so we can start building up the ROM library. Because there are various Software numbers (SW#) out there for the various ecu's, you want to only download the base tuning files from us based on YOUR SW#.

The "POWER" of Clearing Adaptation!!!

It's been almost a year since we last tuned Ducky (2006 MCS with MM Camshaft, 550cc, Mynes V2 header, GP IC and 15% pulley, everything else is STOCK).

When we tuned it last using the Mustang Dyno, it was 195whp and 170ish wtqe (have to dig up the dyno graph)...

So we strapped it on the dyno and did a base run.... 196whp / 173wtqe on a Dynojet... Not bad...

So we pulled out the laptop and open up FA53, cleared the Adaptation Values (left it OFF with key removed for 5 full minutes)... Did run #2: Boom... 205WHPT / 178WTQE (did not change anything with the ecu mapping)... So there you go...

the POWER you "gain" from clearing Adaptations!!! +9 WHP / +5 WTQE

E85 Tuning results on 550s, MM cam, Mynes v2 header, GP IC, 15% pulley

Ok, did some fine tweaking on California E85 with the 550s, made some more horses:

Mods: 2006 MCS with 45k miles, E85, 550cc Bosch OE injectors, Mynes V2 header w/ STOCK CAT, MegaMini V1 cam shaft, GP IC, 15% pulley, NGK Iridium 7EIX => Tuned with MINIFlash FA53.

Started with 91 Octane: 196whp / 173wtqe

Ended with E85 Fuel: 227whp / 189wtqe (with fresh adaptations)

Net Gain for the day with FA53: +31whp / +16wtqe
