    FYI....in case anyone wants to visit Cades Cove....Looks like the road work is ahead of schedule and it will re-open on April 24th.

    Little Wing may just have to take a cruise on the new road.

    Cades Cove Loop Road reopened to the public
    April 25. 2010

    Thanks to a newly minted road surface, for the first time since 1978 the 11-mile loop around Cades Cove in Great Smoky Mountains National Park is going to feel a little less rustic for bicyclists and motorists.

    The article says the road was not just resurfaced, but entirely rebuilt. :cool:
