No one mentioned being able to use a adjustable cam gear with a cam card only that an after market Performance cam usually comes with a cam card so you can check accuracy of the specification and to degree in the cam correctly if needed? Those retailers/vendors that do not supply a cam card most likely did not get it from the grinder/manufacture. Those that continually receive cams without it assume the responsibilities of what may happen without verifying specifications.
You can not copy someones cam by a cam card.
I have a folder full of Engine Dyno evaluation on various engines I have run over the years. The emphasis should be I and Engine Dyno'd because so many presume so much at times about what some people know and do not know? These Engine Dyno Evaluations really bare no relevance here because of the number of variables and part combination's.
Mike (Thumper) wait be patient I am sure that other(s) will suddenly have a renewed interest in offering an adjustable cam gear in the near future.
3, 4 ,5 + HP increase on a 4 cyld engine I would think pretty spectacular. It all adds up does,nt it?
Hey I Google (LOL) all over and still have not been able to find a reasonable site with information claiming the use of an adjustable cam gear is a waste of money, time or has no value? -
