A DEDICATED Mini fan is searching for the car he spent thousands of pounds restoring after thieves raided a garage block. Alan Capon, 44, of Poplar Shaw in Waltham Abbey, discovered his green Mini Cooper Sports was missing from the garage near his home yesterday morning. “A friend of mine phoned me in the morning to say the garages had been turned over,†he said. “I assumed kids had been jumping on the roofs again. What exactly would owning a gun have prevented in this situation? I didn't see any where in the article that either the neighbor or the owner had actually heard the break in. Would you actually shoot somebody trying to steal a car or some tools?
If I was this guys neighbor and I saw this happening your damn right I would shoot first and ask questions later.
