    Call me crazy, but I'm going to go look at an R52 tonight. Thinking I want to get rid of the justa and get something with a supercharger. Loved hearing that whine while I was down at the dragon.

    Trader. :prrr:

    Only kidding, I remember you telling us that while you were drooling over the GP Style wing. Good luck with the hunt. :Thumbsup:

    Did you mean "traitor" ???

    Isn't the R52 either a Justa or a supercharged car?

    Tell me if I have this right....

    R50 = Justa 1st gen
    R52 = 1st gen convert - either Justa or supercharged
    R53 = 1st gen supercharged
    R55 = 2nd gen, Clubby, Justa or Turbo
    R56 = 2nd gen hatch, Justa or turbo
    R57 = 2nd gen convertible, Justa or turbo
    R58 = New Coupe
    R59 = New Roadster
    R60 = Countryman, all flavors

    Thanks Jim, I'll never forget the justa!
    I kind of liked this car. Overall it looked good. One concern is the carfax didn't start until about 22k miles. I did notice on the navigation though there were German addresses. Everything seemed to work. Will need to drive it another time though as all the salesmen were busy. Go figure on a crappy day like today.

    SOOOOO True.

    IMO it is a good move. The S/C whine is insanely addictive, and not to mention these motors are proving to be near bullet proof over its younger brother variant.

    I took it for a test drive this morning. Loved it! My only concern is there being enough room in the backseat for both kids. Will have to go back for a test fit I guess.

    Will do!

    I hate car shopping though. So much fun to just go out there and drive a lot of different things, but I hate the negotiating:mad5:

    I feel the same way. You guys are going to think i'm nuts but I've driven 2 FJ Cruisers this week. 90 percent sure nothing will come from it but I've reluctantly sat though negotiations on both of them... In the end its all about what you want lol.

    It is pretty nice, the only problem is no heated seats! Other than that it is great. I guess there is a retro kit for that, but it involves a little bit of wiring. Not sure how adventurous I am feeling. Was nice driving with the top down though.

    Needs an intake. Loved the exhaust too. Of course a new exhaust would sound sweet as well.
