Stick with it and enjoy the ride. I miss going home at night and searching M3 sites to see if I could find the exact car I wanted. Of course I ended up going in a different direction, but the hunt was a lot of fun.

Chuck, you're right! I'm just not going to tell them that:devil:

The hunt is fun, but the negotiating is a pain! Still negotiating and things are getting closer. I have pretty much made my last stand and I'm waiting for them to meet me there. I leave Monday to go to Dallas for a couple weeks for training. Will rekindle the search when I get back.:mad2:

If you don't seal the deal before you leave it's OK. Time is on your side.

Yes, yes it is. They tried to feed me the line that they sell cars nationwide and the nearing end of convertible season doesn't bother them. Also that convertibles are special and they can let them sit on the lot longer.

How do you know you were the Chuck being invited to this party?

I think it is funny that Kelley BMW has so many verts on their lot right now. On my way past yesterday afternoon it looked like every used car they had was an open toper.

I think a tin top would be nice. They come with a big hole in the roof if you like that sort of thing. Converts are not so hot in winter. Keep looking you'll find your MINI.

I like the 2 holes in my current roof. Seems harder to find lower mileage tin tops. If I go that route it looks like I want an 05 or 06 unless MAG wants to give me a great deal on a 2011. What mileage should I look for? Under 50000?

MAG has a really nice 2011 JCW Black with Chili Red roof for sale! Oh and I managed to find my MC40 with only 36k on the clock when I bought it...so they are out there, just have to do some looking. :D
