I have a hard time getting out of my car without turning it off. The other day I meant to check out a noise under the hood of my pick up truck. I got in, started it, then I automatically shut it off before I opened the door!
I opened the hood, then remembered that I'd shut it off. Got back in, started it again, and had to make a conscious effort to not turn it off again before I got out!ut:

when I was stationed in Seoul, S Korea people would leave their cars running on Sat or Sun mornings outside the eatery while they went to get coffee and donuts and soldiers would take the cars to their barracks, cause they were to lazy to walk. No damage, nothing missing and never knew who took them!!! We always recovered the vehicles
