    Hi Central Coast Mini Coopers,

Pat K (#173) and Mike D (#14) from CCMC attended the Saturday 12/03/2016 Auto-X at the Santa Maria,CA Airport. The Auto-X was put on by PCA. It was a very fast (3rd gear) and long (0.8 mile) course. The average lap time was about 70 seconds. There were a lot of nice Porsches at the event including GT-3, GT-4, a gaggle of Cayman S, pair of Boxster Spyders, and 356 with very trick Dean Polopolus motor. Of course there were plenty of non-Porsches including Mini Coopers, VW GTI & /RS, Focus RS (very quick), supercharged Scion FRS, Corvettes, Mustangs, and four 510s.

Below is a link to some photos, from the Auto-X, on our CCMC Flickr page.
When you go to the Flickr page; you can quickly see the photos in the collage or to see the photos individually (and larger) just click on the first photo and scroll (arrow on right center of screen) through the photos. When looking at the photos individually you can also see the title (car type) at the bottom of the screen.

This was the last Auto-X for 2016. Next Santa Maria Auto-X will be in March 2017.

Nice pictures! I'm going through auto-x withdrawal right now. My first event isn't until the end of April.

We're getting ready to request course layout designs on the FB page and the Course Design/Set up team will review the submitted design and narrow the options down to at least one per points events for final approval. That will give me something to work on for a couple of months.

Does this guy know the goal is to avoid the cones and not eat them like PACMAN?

The R32 gained much need energy from the cones and was able to later get Top Time of the Day.
