Here is a link to photos I posted on Flickr from our trip on Saturday May 4th to the British Extravaganza at Buttonwillow Raceway.

05/04/13: Britsh Extravaganza - a set on Flickr

Two Minis from the club attended (Mike M and Myself). I had Cal Poly student Greg as a passenger. We had a great drive to Buttonwillow following a route of US-101 N, CA-58 E (Santa Margarita), CA-228 N (rollercoaster road to Creston), CA-41 N (Shandon), CA-46 E, Bitterwater Rd S, Bitterwater Valley Rd E, CA-46 E, CA-33 S, and finally Lerdo Hwy to Buttonwillow Raceway (at US-5). On the way back we took the more direct route of CA-33, CA-58, and US-101. We sure did go through a lot of cattle grazing land. We did not see many other cars but a lot of bugs and squirrels.

Once at Buttonwillow in did Track Laps, walked the pits, met the group from Mini Cal Minis, watched races, and checked out the car show.

The photos include a few during our drive to and from Buttonwillow plus driving around the track, and then cars we saw at the track.
