Central Coast Mini Coopers (CCMC) is planning to caravan from Orcutt, CA to the Rose Bowl on Saturday July 14 for the MTTS 2012 event in Los Angeles. We will spend the afternoon at the Rose Bowl including driving new Minis at the MINIcross. Saturday night we will attend the Wrap Party at the House of Blues in West Hollywood (7 - 10 PM). Sunday morning we will meet at Gladstones (Sunset & PHC) for a Rise & Shine Rally party (8:30 - 10 AM). After the Rise & Shine event we will head back home driving up Hwy 1 and on some nice canyon roads through the Santa Monica Mountains. You need to register for the MTTS 2012 event. Four members (3 cars) attended the Mini Takes The States (MTTS) 2012 events in the Los Angeles area on Saturday 07/14/2012 and Sunday 07/15/2012. Saturday afternoon we attended the Rose Bowl event with the main activity being the Mini Cross where you could drive various Mini models on an auot-x course. It was fun. We also got free goodie bags and there were vendor booths to spend our money. Saturday night we went to the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood. MTTS took over the whole place. Free food, drinks, and concert. We had a great time. Sunday morning in went to Gladstone's in Malibu for a end of event party. There were about 250 Minis at the event. Again free food. After Gladstone's we headed up the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) and drove a few canyon roads through the Santa Monica Mountains. It was a nice drive and a beautiful day.
