Celebrate MINI as Marque of the Year at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix July 6-20,

The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix, the Pitt Stop MINI Club, and MINI of Pittsburgh would like to invite you and members of your organization to the 2014 PVGP MINI Marque of the Year events. The PVGP is the nation's largest vintage race event, covering ten full days - with each event focusing on MINIs. This is a must for any MINI owner or fan. MINI's, old and new are welcome.

The culmination of 2014 Grand Prix Race Week occurs on the July 19/20 weekend in Schenley Park, Pittsburgh, where organizers have reserved space for the first 500 MINIs to be on display in the middle of the golf course overlooking the vintage races. MINI owners will be part of the country's largest vintage race event and have an opportunity to take a parade lap on the 2.3 mile street circuit in front of 100,000 spectators! The MINI of Pittsburgh dealership and the Pitt Stop MINI Club will host the Marque Pavilion.

While driving your own MINI you can participate in this three hour tour through Pittsburgh and the countryside. There will be special awards for MINI competitors.

Blacktie & Tailpipes Gala, Friday, July 11 Blacktie & Tailpipes Gala | Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix
This grand affair at the Longue Vue Club will celebrate in MINI formal black tie style.

PVGP Historic Weekend at Pitt-Race Complex - July 12/13 PVGP Historics at Pitt Race Complex | Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix
These historic races feature a variety of vintage and modern race cars. There will be a MINI Corral and tent at trackside where owners can display their cars and watch the races all weekend.

Invitational Car Show on Walnut Street - Monday, July 14 www.pvgp.org/shadyside
This invitation only show will feature a ten significant MINIs. Let us know about your special MINI and you might get one of the coveted spots!

Waterfront Car Cruise - Tuesday July 15 Car Cruise at the Waterfront | Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix
Join 700 other car owners where the MINI will be the centerpiece.

Schenley Park Race Weekend - July 18-20 International Car Show at Schenley Park | Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix
The main event on Saturday and Sunday features a MINI Marque Pavilion for the first 500 MINIs as part of the 2,000 car International Car Show. Throughout the weekend watch vintage races on the city streets adjacent to the marque display.

The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Association is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization with a mission to hold a world-class vintage automotive event for charity. It is the region's premier summer automotive event with 250,000 attendees. The 2014 Race Week runs from July 11 through 20, culminating with our vintage races through the streets of Pittsburgh and car shows at Schenley Park on the weekend of July 19/20. Since 1983 this volunteer-driven event has raised over $3.5 million for the Autism Society of Pittsburgh and Allegheny Valley School.
