Anyone tried one of these armrests?

I bought one and I am having a fitting issue as it won't go right down in the rear cup holder anyone else had trouble with these?

    Cheers
    Billy

    Looks kinda cheesy....
Think I saw a few reviews...think flex was the issue..
In the end I spent the $$$ to get the bolt-in one.....sometimes referee to as the euro one in the us...the gen1 and gen2 design is ALMOST the same...different part number, minior changes for mounting I think...well worth it...matches well. Only mini or issue on a gen1 pulling up the handbrake is a bit odd till you get the hang of it....
There have been....er...maybe 10-15 different add-on armrests in mini's going back to 2002....and the reality is only one or two non OEM were ever good quality parts....and those cost about the same as the OEM units when they finely came out....

Interesting idea. I would use a little sand paper around the base until you get a tight fit. I still think it would pull out. I would try some industrial Velcro in the bottom of the cup holder and on the bottom of the mount.
