for those that are old enough to really remember the cold war, one of the local (at least to me) artifacts of the cold war is closing. The Blue Cube in Sunnyvale is shutting down. The Blue Cube was the windowless building that used to do a large amount of satallite communications and tracking. When I was a kid, we'd all assumed we'd be smoked in a nuke war just because of the number of warheads targeting that single buidling!
