    1126 is not listed in that link but the Bentley manual says............

    P1126 Throttle position sensor A and B range/performance large error

    I can't find a P0838 in the manual. The link list it as,
    P0838 Four Wheel Drive (4WD) Switch Circuit Low???

    Do you own the one off AWD R53 Getrag made?:biggrin5:

    What is the car doing?

    Funny thing is I don't have one of those AWD mini
    My car is a very regular r52 MCs !!!

    The car is in limp mode, no boost and stalls often plus misfiring

    Take it to a mechanic.

    You will do better if you take it to an independent MINI specialist than a dealer, dealers are too expensive.

    some say that 1126 is throttle position sensor at fault
    so can i just buy the sensor or do i have to replace the entire throttle body ?
