What year car?
If you paid to have the sensor replaced before it should be covered under MINI's two year warranty on Parts and Labor.
They will have a record of it if you don't but it's better to bring your own paperwork showing they did the repair once even if it was under warranty.

Sounds like the part was replaced during the extended warranty period, so the 2 year on parts doesn't come into play....
He will get 2 year warranty when the new one is paid for and installed by the dealer... -

The check engine light went out. The dealer said there is no current issue or the light would still be on. Should I worry? Should I wait until it reoccurs?
Should I disconnect the the battery to wipe the existing code still in memory?
the scanner did not show a date/time stamp. -
UPDATE.....
Same error reappeared.
The Part from my car that was installed at the factory was a Bosch number. the Mini part numbers do cross to/from it.
Mini PN: 13-62-7-588-095 $74.00
Bosch PN: 0 232 103 064 $25.75
AutoZone did not have it in stock but got it Overnight for $26.45 total.
Replaced it and after starting it the error was still there. I ran a few min, turned it off and started it again the 2nd time and the error went away.
Good part on a digital meter checked as:
Pin 1 to 2 = open
Pin 1 to 3 = 279K ohms
Pin 2 to 1 = open
Pin 2 to 3 = open
Pin 3 to 1 = 230K ohms
Pin 3 to 2 = 131K ohms
I hope this helps someone else that may get this issue. :cornut:
