Ok gang, call me nuts, but....

How the heck do you see where your oil level is on the dipstick? According to the manual, there should be 2 marks... one for the MIN, and one for the MAX.
That's great... in theory.... mine doesn't have these.
All mine had was a plastic, cone-shape on the end.

    Help! :confused5:

I'm going to post a reply to my own post here.....

Found a new dip stick by Moss MINI to replace the OEM one.... at least that one has clear marks on it. :D

Since my dip stick has the two marks, I can't comment on what's going on with yours, but your dealer should be able to clue you in on how to read yours. If you take a picture of the stick, send it to them. It would save a trip or the cost of a new one.

    Good luck.

That was my other thought..... when I'm in for service, I'm going to ask the dealership to show me how to read the darn thing. :mad2::lol:

My dip stick broke so I used the handle and made my own, it's easy to read.
