    2011 Chevy Cruze Recall
General Motors Corp. is recalling 2,100 cars because the steering wheel could break away from the steering column.
The recall involves the 2011 Chevrolet Cruze compact car. The auto maker said it traced the problem to a case in which the wrong wheel was put in a car and replaced later in the assembly process with the correct wheel but it was not properly installed, according to documents obtained by the Wall Street Journal.
General Motors officials said it happened only one time and they believe it is an isolated incident. The company is recalling cars that were built before changes to their production process.
Drivers affected by the recall can go to their dealer to have the wheel inspected. . This service is free of charge. Owners may contact Chevrolet at 1-800-630-2438.

Even though this car has been on the market all around the world for a very long time, it STILL manages to get screwed up when released to the North American market!!!
