Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson Is The BBC's Biggest Earner (MotorAuthority.com)
Well deserved if you ask me......just compare him to a Letterman or Leno.
His books are funny as hell too.
Not bad, but doesn't the UK have taxes that are just outrageous? Not that 5Mil is something to shrug off, but if you have to give a crapload back it kinda takes the fun out of it. I mean someone has to pay for universal healthcare.
Plus they have all those darn road taxes.
Yeah, you bring up a good point. Jezza does quite a bit of off-screen work, mostly writing pieces that appear regularly in a variety of print and online periodicals. Most would agree that his print work is at least equal to his broadcast work in terms of hilarity and well-placed cynicism. Also, I think he's probably the most involved of anyone in supporting Andy Wilman in injecting creativity into the production of TG. Quite a bit more than just acting bombastic in front of a camera 15 times a year.
Good for him. I don't agree with everything he says but I am always entertained.
He's a bit of a cock and often outspoken but I do find myself agreeing with a lot of what he's says
