I would wonder if it was taken to Canada -- how difficult is it to get a car across the bridge in Detroit?? The Classic Mini Community is a fairly tight bunch. You might think to post this to Mini-Mania's site for widest dissemination. I will spread the word amongst the classic clubs in Ohio, and we will be watching at the Mini Meet in Winona, Minn in two weeks.
I'm going to repost this info and try and get some people up in Canada looking for it, I think a cross border shipping is most likely because of how many imported cars wind up in Canada and the fact that the Mini is one of the few cars you could put in a crate and maybe slip through customs with some forged paperwork.
