Only caught them a few times over the years. They are certainly entertaining.

Well, crap. I've been waiting for years to call them with a strange problem. I listen nearly every weekend too!

One of my favorite Car Talk moments was a call in which the caller said, "My dog barfed down the defroster vents on my pick-up, what should I do?"

Without missing a beat, they said, "Sell the truck!"

Yep. I've learned a lot from those guys. They would be the first to admit that everything I've learned is probably wrong, though! :D Once a month or so, I download White Roof Radio, Car Talk and Garrison Keeler to my iPod.

My brother-in-law once stopped to rescue a stray kitten in the road, about 1/2 mile from his house. During the return trip home, the cat climbed up under the dash of his new Jaguar S-type. The kitten extraction required 3 hours of work at the local mechanic's shop, yielding a bill of $225 and a new furry family member, aptly named "Dash". If it had happened on a Saturday morning, I know who I would have been calling...
