Well my 2012 Clubbie is headed to the dealer tomorrow due to it now wanting to start a few times and then yesterday on the way home it threw the check engine light!!!!!! Wow only 8800 miles and going to the shop. Sometimes when starting it will start, rough idle then die. Almost like it does have enough fuel, leaking injector, to stay running. After reading Nathans issue it may only be running on 3 cylinders cause if you give it a little gas it will for a few seconds it will idle just fine. Hopefully they can get it fixed soon:fingerscrossed:
Sounds like the HPFP, but that is just a SWAG on my part. That goodness for warranty. They'll get her fixed up so no worries.
I'm with you Chuck.... MINI came out with an extended warranty that covers issues with the HPFP. The dealer will fix it for you.
Interesting. Second post-2009 car with start issues I've heard about. Please let us know what the dealer finds. I hope it's a quick fix.
Interesting, my 2011 Clubbie has had this issue a couple of times. Never thrown a check engine light, but I will have to keep an eye on it.
