well they replaced the thermostat and had to reprogram the computer due to a rough idle.

I'm with you Chuck.... MINI came out with an extended warranty that covers issues with the HPFP. The dealer will fix it for you.

Interesting. Second post-2009 car with start issues I've heard about. Please let us know what the dealer finds. I hope it's a quick fix.

Interesting, my 2011 Clubbie has had this issue a couple of times. Never thrown a check engine light, but I will have to keep an eye on it.
