Good time to change the gearbox oil.

You don't remove the engine to do the clutch, but you do drop the subframe so it's a great time to add some powerflex bushings as they are commonly wore out.

I would question why the engine would be removed to replace a clutch?

You don't need to remove the engine to do the clutch. Dropping the subframe would be the easier way to do it, going that way I would change control arm bushings (if not done already), sway bar bushings, and inner ball joints depending on what kind of condition they are in.

I don't believe the sub frame needs to be dropped to pull the transmission. If you do the clutch replace ALL the parts, clutch disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing & the flywheel.

Well, the problem is more where do you stop?
Supercharger oil, water pump, thermostat, crank sensor o-ring, axle boots, power steering pump, power steering hoses, ball joints, lower control arm bushings, tie rod ends......
