    That sounds like dealer pricing.

    A Valeo clutch kit is a lot less expensive than OEM from dealer. Same quality.

    She found a shop local to Columbia, SC that works on Phil Wicks racing Mini and they told her $1900. That is where she got it fixed. Thanks for all the info

    Yep, sounds about right to me. $1,600 for the parts and $900 for the labor.

    she had it diagnosed at some shop here in Columbia SC. Nearest dealer is 1.5 away.

    almost 20k miles on my Valeo clutch kit I'll give it an :Thumbsup: and my own install that cost me ZERO $$$. :biggrin5:

    That actually sounds a bit expensive, but sounds normal at the dealership level. At a good independent shop I've seen them priced for $1500 to $1800 for parts and labor.
