    Hi folks,

we have a front strut brace/bar and 22mm rear ASB installed on our CM JCW. We are in Robbinsville, NC this week with the CM and our bikes running all the great roads.

Just before dark tonight I ran the CM for the first time on The Dragon. Wow, what a blast. I get that it's not a hard top and that it sits higher and weighs a tick over 3000lbs., but I'll tell you this is the most fun daily driver we have ever owned.

Just not a lot of body roll with these inexpensive mods in place. And the All4 system is just fantastic to keep the rear end from stepping out and really helps get the back end to rotate really well.

heel/toe downshifting in this car is an absolute breeze, and happens really quick, allowing me to brake very late into most turns...then immediately hitting wide open throttle just before the apex to get the turbo spooled up coming out of the corner and keep the momentum to power up to the next corner...

I had those P-ZEROS chirpping pretty good, but the chassis stayed very well planted....got 3 more days and can't wait to do more with this car....

Sounds like you're having a lot more fun than me right now.

As our British friends would say... Good on you, mate!

It takes about a week for the grin to finally disappear once you get back home from the Dragon in the MINI....
In that week your friends are going to look at you funny and ask whats wrong with your face..... :D Just tell them they wouldn't understand... It'sa MINI thing...

I'm keeping tabs on all of your exploits, lol. Glad that the suspension upgrades have been worthwhile, looks like I know what my first mods are going to be.

I'm headed up to the Dragon in two weeks, and I think it will be interesting to see how my stock JCW handles it.

Enjoy the Dragon and I am jealous since I only get on the Dragon for 1 week a year for MOTD.

Sounds like you're having a blast. I just took delivery of a JCW Countryman today. Can you post what brace and RSB you are using and where you got them? Many thanks.
