Unfortunately, I haven't actually looked into them since I'm always going through there for business, but I've seen them multiple times at both the old and new rental car areas there.
Update: According to Budget's website, they have MINIs in ATL. Budget Rent a Car of Atlanta - Atlanta Hartsfield Airport
Prestige Luxury Rentals looks like they rent MINIs in ATL too. Mini Cooper Rentals and Exotic Car Rentals - Rent a Mini Cooper in Miami, Orlando, Naples, Tampa, Atlanta, Georgia (GA) Also, I found this. It looks like FlexCar (Who is now Zip Car) specifically offered MINIs for MOTD rental in 2007. Maybe if someone contacted them they'd be willing to do it again? http://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/news/94566-flexcar-rent-a-mini-for-minis-on-the-dragon.html
Looks like Hendrick MINIs has stepped up to the plate and offered to have a MINI for the CNBC crew to use!!
I like how this thread has morphed into a discussion of where to rent MINIs. At least I won't have to go MINIless when I travel.
Ummmm ya can't get the true feeling with a rental MINI anyway. Their a bit like a Hooker, might be fun for a short drive but it's just not the same as having your own, one that you've rubbed on, tweaked, modded and nutured to make your very own, now is it?
Oh my gosh. Is Mark saying he owns a "hooker" and a MINI? I don't think I want to know anymore. :eek6: Jim
ROFLMAO No, I'm saying I have both a Mini and a wife, both nurtured with love and care! I've just been told about hookers, maybe someone with more first.....er....hand experience with those can chime in......
Well just got a disappointing phone call. CNBC had some scheduling conflicts and will not be attending our event They were in England last week filming the WRC Countryman and were supposed to head to Germany, but that leg got messed up and they had to reschedule during our event
Now I ask ya, what could there possibly be in Germany to film that would be better then MOTD? I'll bet MINI USA backs out now. Jim
